Notice of the BCIT Student Association 2025 Annual General Meeting

The BCITSA Annual General Meeting is when the members of the executive team present draft financial statements, the President’s Report, and proposed bylaw amendments to the members. The Director of Finance will present the audited financial statements and address any questions, comments, or concerns that may arise; those in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in the voting of motions that are put forward.

While the proposed Bylaw Amendments are submitted as a single package, members at the Annual General Meeting may also choose to consider each of the six ‘Schedules’ individually, or in smaller groups.

For those with questions about the proposed Bylaw amendments, members of the Bylaw Committee will be hosting a Town Hall meeting to answer questions. The Town Hall will be held in SE2 Council Chambers at 3:30 on November 12, 2025.

Who Can Attend?

Any current BCITSA member in good standing has the right to attend and participate in this meeting.

How Can I Attend?

The AGM will be hybrid, taking place in Council Chambers, SE2 3rd floor; dinner will be served. The virtual option will be via Microsoft Teams, and those members attending virtually will be able to vote.
