BCITSA Entrepreneurship

About Us

The BCIT Student Association is proud to offer entrepreneurship support to BCIT students and alumni.

Our programming was developed in response to student demand and our aim is to engage students and alumni in a culture of entrepreneurial thinking, learning, and development. Through our programs and services, we hope to inspire potential entrepreneurs, provide opportunities for exploration, and connect BCIT entrepreneurs to additional resources on and off campus.

Entrepreneurship Manager

With a background in social enterprise management and community economic development, I believe in the power of entrepreneurship to create change and impact lives. Prior to starting at the BCIT Student Association, I worked with several start-up businesses and non-profits; doing everything from operations management to sales, and specializing in strategic growth and development. A graduate of UBC’s Sauder MBA program, I have experience with start-up accelerators and I am inspired by the many passionate entrepreneurs I have had the opportunity to meet. I am excited to work with BCIT students and alumni to help their businesses grow and succeed.

Get Guidance from an Experienced Entrepreneur or Expert.

Starting a business can be overwhelming! It’s important for new founders to have someone they can turn to for guidance. The BCITSA Entrepreneurship Mentorship program gives students and alumni an opportunity to connect with and learn from experienced entrepreneurs and business experts. Mentees meet with their mentors on a regular basis over a five-month period to get support to launch or grow their startups, set business goals, and work towards achieving them.
