The Student Council, made up of the Executive Board and Councillors, is responsible for overseeing the Student Association and advocating for students. Set Reps help bring forward student ideas and concerns. These students contribute their time and effort towards improving campus life for their peers and moving our organization forward.

How to Become a Councillor

Along with having the desire to improve student life at BCIT, those interested in becoming a Councillor must follow these steps.

Submit an application form

Applicants must fill out and send the application form below.

Have application reviewed

The Chairs review applications and reach out to candidates for interviews.

Get notified

Applicants are notified if they’ve been selected.

Attend training

New councillors attend a training session (end of September).
