About
Set Rep Program
The Set Rep program is a forum for students to connect, provide input, and advocate for student concerns. The program gives students the opportunity to be heard during important discussions regarding student life, contributing to growth at the Student Association.
A Set Rep is the voice of their set to the Student Association and larger community. The Set Rep gathers any issues and brings them forward to Student Executives and Advocates where the issues can be addressed directly, allowing for actionable responses in a timely manner.
Duties
What Does a Set Rep Do?
Set Reps are student leaders who represent their set to the Student Association and BCIT community. They bring forward issues raised by classmates or instructors, ensuring student voices are heard by Student Executives and Advocates. Through regular meetings, Set Reps help address concerns directly while fostering stronger communication between students and the broader BCIT community.
The Set Rep Program empowers students to build leadership skills and create a supportive, inclusive environment. Set Reps strengthen connections by organizing study groups, checking in on peers, and sharing resources. They keep classmates informed about updates, events, and services, while actively advocating for student needs at BCIT. It’s a meaningful way to make a difference.

Set Reps attend two meetings per semester, please see the below calendar for your school’s meeting dates, times and locations.
