BCITSA Wellbeing: Your Support System

At the BCITSA, we believe your success goes beyond the classroom. Need help navigating wellbeing resources? We offer confidential, non-judgmental conversations to connect you with support for food, financial, housing, or mental health challenges. We’re always looking for passionate volunteers for our Food Support Hub to help us make a difference in the BCIT community. If you want to contribute, get in touch!

Key Services

The BCITSA Wellbeing Department offers a variety of services to support students. To address the issue of food insecurity on campus, we operate the Food Support Hub, which includes our Food Pantry open every Wednesday, an Emergency Food Fund, and Quest Food Exchange referrals. We also provide one-on-one Wellbeing Appointments to help you find resources and support services. We are not an emergency service, if you are experiencing an immediate emergency, please contact 911.

Students who require Food Hub navigation support including access to:
  • Emergency Food Funds (EFF)
  • Quest Grocery Membership
  • Food Hampers, etc.
Students requiring referrals to other supports for:
  • Food Security
  • Housing
  • Mental Wellness
  • Other areas of Wellbeing

Facing food insecurity? Our Food Support Hub is here to help. This comprehensive service provides immediate food resources like the BCITSA Food Pantry, Community Fridge, and Emergency Food Support. We also connect you with wider community services through the Community Food Network, ensuring you have access to the support you need.
