Breakdown of Expenses
Services & Governance
51.2%
Administration
48.8%
*based on 2022 financials
*Administration includes all Accounting, HR, Marketing and Communications, and other staff support and expenses related to our Retail Operations, Pub, Campus Print and copy, and all support related to Services and Governance.
Resource Allocation
Student Fees cover 83% of the BCITSA administrative and services expenses (based on 2017 financials). The remaining expenses are covered by revenues from other sources. What this means is that for every dollar we spend on our administration and services, we only need to collect $0.83 in student fees. Our retail, pub, print shop, and sponsorship revenues make up the difference. Please review our Annual Management Report and Audited Financial Statements for further information.
