Come relax at the Zen Lounge Massage Clinic offered year-round in partnership with the Vancouver Career College Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) program. The program is designed to enable BCIT students to receive a free 30-minute massage treatment and the RMT students to develop their clinical competencies. To sign up for a Friday massage between 10am and 3pm, please read the Zen Lounge Terms of Service and then email email@example.com.

Come learn a new skill and release your inner Picasso with Brush It Off Paint Night at the Habitat pub! We provide the paint, brushes, aprons, canvases, and you get to take your masterpiece home. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Student Association Centre. Limited spaces available so sign up early!
Question Persuade Refer Suicide Intervention training is a 1.5 hour workshop that will equip you with the skills to support someone who is experiencing suicidal thoughts. In this training the facilitators will teach you how to recognize the warning signs, ask the question that could save a life and connect to appropriate services. It’s true what they say…breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. Eating breakfast can improve your ability to focus, learn and manage stress. Come join us in the Great Hall in SE2 on the first Tuesday of every month for a free healthy breakfast snack from 8:00am to 9:00am or while supplies last October through May at the Burnaby campus.
Need a quick healthy snack? Grab a piece of free fresh fruit at the Student and Career Services Centre in SE2 on the third Friday of every month from 8:00am 10:00am or while supplies last.

Speak Up Speak Out (SUSO)
1 in 5 Canadians will experience a mental illness in their life but 5 in 5 Canadians will be impacted by this experience. That’s why we work to eliminate stigma, increase awareness and create an inclusive, caring campus each year with our Speak Up Speak Out campaign from October 16 to 18.
White Rose Day
On Dec 6th, 1989, 14 female students at École Polytechnique in Montreal were killed in a tragic act of violence against women. Join us on December 6th to commemorate those whose lives have been lost to gender-based violence and take part in activities to learn what you can do to create a safer community.
Bell Let’s Talk
Join us as we keep the convo going about mental health so that we can take another step towards a mentally healthy, stigma-free country. Be on the look out for the Wellness team giving out free swag, inviting you to join the convo and to take a moment to take care of your mental wellness.
International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHTB)
Celebrate the diversity of sexual and gender identities in our community for the annual IDAHTB Day on May 17. We’ve got resources for members of the community as well as allies and did we mention a pride inspired rainbow coloured candy bar?
Pink Shirt Day (PSD)
On February 27, 2019, wear pink to show your support for anti-bullying. Each year we take a BCIT photo, have a resource fair and workshops to learn more!
