Startup Foundations Workshop (Virtual)

Do you have a business idea but you’re not sure where to start? Attend this workshop on how to turn your idea into a business by developing a business model.

The Startup Foundations workshop will walk you through how you can develop your business idea using a 1-page planning tool called the Lean Canvas. In one hour, you will discover the basics of building a validated business model.

Please note, this workshop is for you if you have a specific business idea that you want to turn into a business but you’re not sure where to start. This workshop is not recommended if you’re not clear on what type of business you want to pursue.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to

• State the advantages of creating a business model.
• Describe the relationship between a Business Model and a Business Plan.
• Identify three benefits of using the Lean Canvas to develop your Business Model.
