Welcome to BCITSA Entrepreneurship

About Us

The BCIT Student Association is proud to offer Entrepreneurship support to BCIT students and alumni. Our programming was developed in response to student demand and our aim is to engage students and alumni in a culture of entrepreneurial thinking, learning and development. Through our programs and services, we hope to inspire potential entrepreneurs, provide opportunities for exploration, and connect BCIT entrepreneurs to additional resources on and off campus.

Come visit us at the Summit Centre – the new home of entrepreneurship on campus!

With over 7 years of experience in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation, I have had the opportunity to be part of start-ups, a start-up incubator, and micro-finance organizations working closely with entrepreneurs and helping them build their ventures. My passion is to motivate individuals and organizations around me to create exponential social and economic impact by maximizing on their resources and network.  I have an unreasonable dream to positively impact 1 billion human lives within my lifetime. Joining the BCIT Student Association in June 2016, my goal is to help develop an entrepreneurial mindset in the students who believe in creating positive change in the world.

With a background in social enterprise management and community economic development, I believe in the power of entrepreneurship to create change and impact lives. Prior to starting at the BCIT Student Association I worked with several start-up businesses and non-profits, doing everything from operations management to sales, and specializing in strategic growth and development. A graduate of UBC’s Sauder MBA program, I have experience with start-up accelerators and I am inspired by the many passionate entrepreneurs I have had the opportunity to meet. I am excited to work with BCIT students and alumni to help their businesses grow and succeed.
